HGC Drops vs. Injections – Which Is Better?

We’re often asked, “Isn’t it better/easier to use HCG drops than injections?”

Our answer is a resounding no. And it’s not because we take some sadistic pleasure out of making you shoot yourself up every day.

It’s got to do with the ease and reliability of the two forms of HCG. I know it sounds paradoxical that it’s easier to take an injection, but it is.

When you take the drops, you don’t swallow them. If you do that, the stomach acid inactivates them, and you get no benefit from the HCG. To get an effect, you have to put them under your tongue where the medicine absorbs into your bloodstream.

The trick is you have to keep them under your tongue for fifteen minutes. If you’ve ever tried to keep an oily liquid under your tongue, you’ll realize what a trick this is. You just can’t do it. Your mouth starts salivating, and then you drool. It’s just plain gross and uncomfortable. And we’re talking about fifteen minutes.

Invariably, you swallow some of it, and that portion gets deactivated. So, you don’t get the full dose of HCG. In fact, since we don’t know how much you swallowed, we don’t know how much HCG you received.

This brings up another problem. We use specific and exact doses of HCG. You can’t make exact measurements with drops and a dropper. So, we can’t tailor your treatment the way it needs to be personalized.

No, there’s no way to get around it. Injections are the way to go. They don’t hurt, and you’ll quickly get used to it.
